Payment and Return

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Maestro and ShopPay. We only take payment once your order has been shipped. We also accept payment by PayPal or Amazon Pay. If you decide to use either of these two methods, you’ll be taken to either the PayPal or Amazon Pay website, where you’ll be prompted to log in and process your payment. You’ll then be directed back to our merchant website once your transaction is complete.

Can I return items?

Goods can be returned to the buyer's expense ( shipping costs, tax and duties ) within 30 days of receipt. The exchange is only possible for unworn items and in original packaging (gift envelope, silk bag, envelope with raw cashmere). Should you have any questions, please contact us.

Are payments on your website secure?

Yes! Payments comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
 
The PCI DSS is the highest information security standard for organizations or companies that accept credit card payments. This standard provides protection of the privacy and confidentiality of the card's data used to complete the online transaction.

Ordering and delivery

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. It’s quick and easy to create an account. Just visit our homepage, click on the person icon on the righ hand, and follow the instructions on-screen.

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at customer.service@story1961.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

Why has my order been canceled?

We typically only cancel orders if there’s a problem with stock, or if you’ve asked us to cancel. Please accept our apologies if your order is canceled because of a problem at our end. We’ll always offer an alternative product and process your refund in full, as quickly as possible.

How do I cancel my order?

There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us straight away after ordering, via customer.service@story1961.com, we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed. If not, we’ll despatch your order and then you can return it to us taking care of the costs, if you wish, upon receiving it.

Courier Companies

We partner with some couriers companies for all our deliveries throughout the world. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are delays and restrictions for some countries.
 
- National (Spain): We work with MRW and CorreoExpress.
- International (Rest of the World): We work with FedEx and UPS.

When will my order arrive?

Delivery periods that we indicate are computed starting on the date of our order confirmation, provided, however, that the purchase price has been paid and we have obtained a valid shipping address. Unless no delivery period or a deviating delivery period is indicated for the respective goods during the checkout process, the following shall apply:
 
- Spain: 2-5 business day
- Europe: 5-10 business days
- All remaining countries: 5-10 business days

What countries do you ship to?

We ship to most regions worldwide. Please contact us via email to customer.service@story1961.com if you have any doubt before ordering to make sure we can deliver to your geographical location.

How much is shipping?

Unless otherwise provided in connection with the presentation of the goods concerned, or stated by Story1961 during the checkout process, we will charge shipping charges for each purchase order. You may obtain information on the then-valid shipping charges below. These charges will also be shown on the purchase order form.
 
- Spain: Free
- Europe: 29-45€ (Free from 450€)
- All remaining countries: 70-110€ (Free from 450€)
 
When shipping to other countries excluding European Union Countries our customers should note, that additional charges, taxes and custom duties may arise. These additional costs are to be paid by the customer.
